Job Search Coaching

Make your job search story irresistible!
In today’s highly competitive job search environment, it’s vital to answer two fundamental questions:
- What sets you apart from your job search competition?
- Why should a prospective employer care?
Whether you are interviewing for a job or simply networking and planting seeds, to make your story irresistible you have to answer both.
This coaching package is designed to help you tell that story in a clear, concise and compelling way. You will focus on three core elements of your job search story:
- Skill: What skills do I have to offer?
- Passion: What energizes me?
- Needs: What needs is the employer trying to meet?
The end goal is to be able to tell any prospective employer:
- This is why I can do this job (skills).
- This is why doing this job will energize me (passion).
- And most importantly, this is how my skills and passion address your needs.
No employer is going to hire you solely because of your skills and passion. They're going to hire you because what you offer meets their needs. In a way, your job search story isn't about you at all - it's about them! It's all about how you can benefit the potential employer.
This is a multi-session package, with three individual sessions focused on each of the key elements outlined above.
- Skill: (2 hours) We will reverse engineer your previous job responsibilities to identify your skills.
- Passion: (2 hours) We will reverse engineer the things that light you up to identify your "Passion Factors," the underlying characteristics that tend to be in place when you're on fire.
- Needs: (1 hour) We will explore a) how to create a picture of any employer's needs and, b) how to create a reference resource to help you concisely and effectively communicate how what you offer meets those needs.
