Using The Occupational Adventure Guide for Organizations as a framework, I work with select employees to identify the underlying factors in what energizes and inspires them. They can use that specific insight to help guide their career development efforts.

Passion Coaching for High-Potential Individuals

Today’s high potential employees are the future of your organization. It makes sense to both retain them and tap into the maximum energy they bring when they are fully aligned with their passion. Intrinsic motivation feeds both performance and satisfaction.

The core areas of focus in High Potential Passion Coaching are:

  • Identifying their passion factors (the underlying characteristics that tend to be present when they feel energized and inspired).
  • Evaluating their current work in light of their passion factors, identifying what is in alignment with those factors and where there is a disconnect.
  • Exploring ways to refine their current work to bring it into greater alignment with their passion factors.
  • Career pathing: Mapping out a path within the organization that maximizes alignment with their passion factors.

Passion Coaching for Managers

With my Passion Coaching for Managers, I can help your managers understand how to coach employees for passion. I work with managers to train them how to help employees identify their passion factors and then apply the resulting insights to each employees current and future work.

The idea behind it is simple:

  • Help the employees uncover and understand their passion factors.
  • Use those passion factors to evaluate their current position and identify areas of alignment and potential trouble areas.
  • Identify ways to refine their work to align more closely with what lights them up.
  • Use the passion factors as a career pathing tool to help employees identify directions within the company that leverage their natural strengths and inclinations.
This is a great follow-up for the Planning for Passion workshop. I will work with your managers one-on-one or together with their employees, as needed, to develop proficiency in uncovering and using the passion factors.

Group Coaching

Group coaching can offer:

    A way for a greater number of people in your organization to engage in the discovery of what lights them up and the application of that insight to their work.
  • A source of ongoing support and accountability among employees.
The group coaching process unfolds in a structured series of interactive sessions. It can be done with work teams or cross-functional groups. Each group of ten people or fewer will meet on a regular basis to:
  • Explore and identify their passion factors.
  • Explore how those passion factors relate to their current work.
  • Identify potential directions within the company that leverage those passion factors.
  • Build strategies for how to get there.
